As the name suggests, a hardbait is an artificial bait made of hard material such as wood , metal or plastic compared to a rubber softbait . Compared to a rubber bait, a hard bait seems quite expensive at first glance. However, because it is much more robust, you can catch many more predatory fish with a hardbait than with a rubber fish . The hard material is less sensitive to predatory fish teeth or heat. Salt water can't usually harm a hard bait either. When using it in salt water, however, you should make sure that the split rings and treble hooks are salt water resistant. However, it is also clear that the price is higher than that of a softbait.
