The Shimano Super GT RD combines elegant looks with a powerful gear system, making it ideal for fishing with heavy feeders. With Shimano's Fightin' Drag technology, it is perfect for fighting big fish.
If you want to catch big fish like tench, bream, chub or carp, the Super GT is just right. The gear ratio of 5.0:1 (size 2500) or 4.8:1 (size 4000) ensures strong crank power and quick brake adjustment during the fight. The 2500 reel is suitable for lighter floats and bait baskets, the 4000 for larger floats and heavier bait baskets.
The Super GT also features the AR-C spool system, Aero Wrap II and the Power Roller. For perfect line lay and casting performance. The robust XT-7 housing and the gears made of die-cast zinc guarantee longevity. Three stainless steel ball bearings and an aluminum crank ensure a smooth and powerful crank movement.
