The Shimano Twinpower FD fishing reel not only impresses with its silky smooth running, but also its appearance makes this reel a real gem. The Micro Module II gear and Silent Drive technology raise the smooth running and line lay to a particularly high quality standard.

The TwinPower spinning reel with front drag can be used for almost any type of freshwater and saltwater spinning fishing. The TwinPower FD also benefits from the advanced Coreprotect system. This prevents water and dirt from entering the reel, thus increasing its service life and maintenance intervals.

A total of nine ball bearings and one needle bearing work in the new Shimano TwinPower , giving it unprecedented smoothness. The high-performance gear is housed in a stable and torsion-resistant aluminum housing. This means that all gear components are always in the optimal position relative to one another and can perform perfectly. The rotor on the Twin Power FD is also made of metal, making it significantly more stable against deformation during the drill.

All models are equipped with extra smooth spool brakes, which makes it easier to master any drill. Even strong opponents are clearly put in their place. The new Long-Stroke AR-C spool has an extended spool stroke.

In combination with the perfect Aero Wrap II line lay, the casting distance is increased significantly and even the finest braided lines are laid optimally on the cold-forged aluminum spool. The Twin Power FD is available in many different sizes and gear ratios, making it easier for every angler to find the right counterpart for their spinning rod.
